[ Being as this isn't exactly a positive review, I have left all spelling, punctuation, and grammar mistakes. - Adrian ] Pist.On ... if you want to know the exact feeling of being tinkled on, go and spend 15 bucks or more on Pist. On's latest effort Sell Out. There is a reason for the title. It makes you feel bad for 4 band mates who at one time were a heralded metal band from one of the metal capitols of the planet ... New York!!!! Now, they are nothing more than a puppet for the record industry, and the sad thing is ... they don't even sell out well! The key word on this is repetitive choruses!!! The slow death begins with "Suddenly Sober," they drone along during the chorus whining "Suddenly (five times in repetition) ... I'm SOBEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR! " Argh ... put some thought into you music writing. The guitars strum 3 chords, no tempo change, a freak like Matt could do better. NOTE: Matt..if these four goons can get a record deal ... you can! Go for it bud!!!!!! The next track of note is "When I Go" It's a ballad ... slow boring guitars, and a chorus that has Henry yelping "I feel cold!!!!!" Me too ... ... towards your apparent disrespect for the music genre, and to the average fan who is going to be looking for a metal album. Give me a barf bag ... it will do more for me than this CD ... keep me from having to get rug cleaner after I lose my taco salad from Taco bell while I grin my teeth and try to finish this review. The last track I can comment on is "Someone" it is actually a pretty song, that has melody, and a purpose. This might be the song that will get some air play from KRock in NY. Other than that ... not many Program Directors will add it cause it lacks bite and heart. Buy the time you get to "Waiting to Die" the last track, you really will be waiting to die. I commend you for getting this far through the CD. I sat through it 16 times. Can you believe it ... and felt worse and worse about it every time I gave it a listen. If your going to spend your money on music this summer ... might I suggest Pissing Razors, the new Limp Bizkit, and Biohazard, cause what your looking for is not here. Pist.On sold out ... and the sad thing is ... they couldn't even do that right. On the Derek Scale: I'll give it a 2, just like they give you 200 points on your SAT's for getting your name right. Pist.On at least showed up. in the studio.
Recommended tracks: None ... Wanna make Crap Dinner Phillip!!!!!!!
